Meet The Team
Nischhal Sharmaa
A Writer/Director/Producer, Nischhal has always been crazy enough to believe that she can change the world and one way she attempts to do that is through her films. Nischhal takes inspiration from society to tell stories that reflect the reality of the world we all live in. A graduate of MetFilm School, London, she has written and directed short films and ads films in the past before she co-founded CineLok. She was also the writer and director of Rimi - CineLok’s first production.

Anany Khare
Growing up with film DVDs and torrents, Anany’s love for cinema dates way back to his early childhood where he found himself immersed in the magic of cinema that sparked his passion for creating unique, thought provoking stories. Post his BA, Anany worked as a line producer in Jugaad Motion Pictures which he believes played a huge role in teaching him more about filmmaking as well as reinforcing his love for the art of storytelling. Anany was the cinematographer and producer of Rimi - CineLok’s first production
“There is nothing more that I would like to do than to make and watch movies. Through Cinelok, I want to make films that tell unique and revolutionary stories in unique and revolutionary ways. I want my films to challenge the thought processes of the audience and compel them to think of things they haven’t given a thought to before.”
Nishanth Palan
An Udupi-bred boy, Nishanth is a graphic designer, illustrator, storyboard artist and production designer. His passion for cinema stems from his innate nature of wanting to capture the world that surrounds him without any ulterior motive. Nishanth has in the past worked extensively as a graphic designer and illustrator. After co-founding this company he has worked as a production designer in Rimi.
